It is very sad to note that former Pakistan Prime Minister Mrs. Benazir Bhutto has been assassinated in an election rally in Rawalpindi. About her legacy & Bhutto family trgedy we will be writing this blog dedicated to her. All well wishers,mourners are welcome to provide information and comments here in this blog.
BENAZIR BHUTTO
-Educated at Harvard and Oxford
-Father led Pakistan before being executed in 1979
-Spent five years in prison
-Served as PM from 1988-1990 and 1993-1996
-Sacked twice by president on corruption charges
-Formed alliance with rival ex-PM Nawaz Sharif in 2006
-Ended self-imposed exile by returning to Pakistan in October
-Killed: 27th December 2007- in Rawalpindi while leaving an election rally.
